NEVER GIVE UP!

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. – Hebrews 6:11-12

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Don’t ever give up! The fact that things are not going your way now is not enough reason to quit. What you are believing God for is on the way. Endure hardship until you take full delivery of your miracle and breakthrough. We live in an adversarial environment full of the forces of darkness that are constantly resisting the purposes of God on the earth. If you want to possess new territory, there is the necessity of battle. Thankfully, this is not a physical battle of ‘knives and swords’. Rather it is spiritual battle of faith, hope and love. Fight the good fight of faith through corresponding words and deeds; Labour sacrificially in love to achieve your goal; Cover all these with the patient endurance of hope (1 Corinthians 13:13, 1 Thessalonians 1:13).

Those who give up easily never achieve their goal, for the battle is usually hardest just before victory is around the corner. If you are in Christ and your goal is in accordance with His will, as revealed in the Bible, you can rest assured that victory is sure, because He always leads us in triumph! (2 Corinthians 2:14). As we abide in Him, we can be confident that He is on our side; and we are more than conquerors through Him (Romans 8:37, Hebrews 10:36).

Prayer: Almighty God, thank You for your goodness and faithfulness. I know You are always on my side, as I abide in You. Help me to keep focus on You. I choose to never give up, until I reap the desired harvest, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
