Why is the Holy Spirit living in me as a true believer?

- He is your personal Helper, Comforter (Encourager), Advocate (Adviser and Defender), Intercessor, Counsellor (Teacher, Guide), Strengthener (Quickener), Standby (Backup, Rock)
According to Romans 8:10 KJV, why is my body dead because of sin and my spirit alive because of righteousness?
- This verse is referring to spiritual death and spiritual life!
- When you got born-again, your spirit (heart) received spiritual life. However, your body is not born-gain and is still susceptible to sin and weaknesses.
- Your body is still mortal (death-doomed) and subject to the consequences of spiritual death.
- In order to have the victory that pleases God, you have let the spiritual life in your spirit dominate the mortality (weaknesses, consequences of spiritual death) in your body.
According to Romans 8:11 KJV, how can I receive quickening (vitality, strength, health, inspiration, empowerment) from the Spirit?
- Recognise that the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God; the Spirit of Christ) lives within you because you have made Jesus Christ your personal Lord, John 3:6
- Repent for wherever you have been careless, 1 John 1:8-9
- Confess that the Holy Spirit lives within you, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
- Ask the Holy Spirit to quicken you, Matthew 7:7
- Believe that you receive quickening, Mark 11:24
- Yield and depend on the Holy Spirit, Romans 8:14, 6:13
- Confess that you are quickened, Romans 10:8-10
