A GREAT ARMY

Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! … So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. – Ezekiel 37:4,10

Ezekiel 37:1-14 tells us the prophetic vision of ‘the valley of dry bones’ and how these bones were raised back to life to become ‘an exceedingly great army’. What is a dry bone? It is anyone who is not functioning or making progress spiritually. People are not functioning spiritually for many different reasons. Some have never made Jesus Christ the Lord of their lives; they are not saved and they have no light in them. Others are believers in Christ but are held back by bondage to the world, the flesh and the devil. Some Christians have been overtaken by pride, selfishness, bitterness or spiritual blindness. They are taken captive by good or bad circumstances. God does not want you to be bound by anything! Rather, He wants you to be effective for His Kingdom and functioning in His Church. No matter what has happened, there is healing for your life today!

How can dry bones live again? By hearing the Word of the Lord! Jesus said that the truth you know will make you free (John 8:32). Stop living in ignorance! Join a living church where the anointed Word is preached and taught clearly. Become revived and effective through genuine fellowship and inspiring leadership. Become a part of His Great Army!

Prayer: Thank You Father for giving me Zoe: the divine overcoming life. I refuse to live as a dry bone! I embrace hearing and living by your anointed Word. Help me to be effective for your kingdom as from now on, in Jesus’ Name.
