- The Holy Spirit is your Paraclete: Comforter, Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby, John 14:26 AMPC
- You have to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth, John 16:13-14, Romans 8:14 AMP
How does the Holy Spirit lead and guide true believers in Christ?
- Through the inner witness and the inner voice!
- Romans 8:14-17
- Your conscience is the voice of your human spirit
- The inner witness is a traffic light system working through your conscience
- The inner voice is a still small definite voice working through your conscience
What is the role of the Holy Spirit in the world?
- The Holy Spirit functions in the world through the Church!
- He convicts the world of sin through the preaching of the gospel by believers, Mark 16:15-16
- He convicts the world of righteousness through the fruit of the Spirit produced by believers, Galatians 5:22-23, Matthew 5:16
- He convicts the world of judgement through the spiritual authority exercised by believers over demons and evil spirits, Luke 10:17-20, Colossians 2:15
